THRUST AREAS FOR DEVELOPMENT

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

India needs to focus its R & D in following areas :

• Development of Low cost Housing for migratory labour coming to towns in search of job.
• Mass employment generation thru development of :
  1. Bio Fuel Cultivation technology
  2. Super Highways Technology
  3. Rapid Mass Transportation System
  4. Development of Bio Parks, herbal Parks, sports parks and tourist parks all along the Ganga planes from Himalayas to Kolkata
  5. Low cost solar energy products
• Development of energy efficient technologies Air Conditioning/ Free cooling systems/ Bio fuel/ Hydrogen Fuel/ Energy saving gadgets
• Development of low cost Rural Technologies- such as Potable Water, sewerage, Health Clinics, education

1. Connectivity/ Transport
Unfortunately connectivity to various tourist locations in India is very poor like Nanital, Mount Abu, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and several important destinations. They have very poor Air, Rail and Road connectivity. It takes about 8-10 hours to reach by car from Delhi to Nanital which is hardly distance of 250 kms. In advanced countries this distance is covered in maximum 2 hrs. India has to invest heavily in infrastructure like super highways and high speed trains. If India spends on infrastructure it will generate employment and improve economy of the rural population.

2. Rural Development :
As seen in last 60 years after independence most of the development is in urban towns & Metro towns, If we want rural development in real terms the central government must ensure that all future developments will be in rural areas & not in towns. Government has allowed foreign Universities to make base in India. The government must go strict & allow such Universities to cover up only in rural areas. The Foreign Universities will invest in build up of their campuses while government will provide support in terms of road connectivity & electricity. In the same way all future engineering colleges and medical colleges should come up only in remote rural areas. No new colleges should be allowed in urban areas within 100 Kms. Radius.

3. Tourism Development :
India has a small share of international tourist traffic but tourist traffic of India can be increased by improving infrastructure services. Tourist areas specially Kashmir, Coastal Belts, Sunder Bans, Orissa and Himalaya Regions have lot of potential to be developed. Lot of private investors can invest into these areas.

4. TENDERING SYSTEM :
Tendering system based on lowest bid need to be scrapped immediate. Most of the equipments and goods purchased from lowest cost supplier fail to function within one year of purchase and get inoperative. Low cost equipments are poor in Quality and Standards like elevators sanitary fittings in toilets, AC, IT equipments electronic sensors, Servo Stabilizers etc. Civil Construction of buildings is also not of good quality

• Annual maintenance contract for next five years should be included in initial cost and if equipment or goods supplied fail often, then they should be replaced by supplier. In case of Non compliance supplier should be arrested under non bail able offence for cheating public funds.


• The performance of supplier and his products must be inspected by purchase technical team at factory premises of supplier and recommendation should be made on spot. If in service the equipment selected turns out bad, then purchase team should be held accountable and their Services be terminated or punished.


• The government has funds but is wasted due to high level of corruption in purchase and tendering system. The system of awarding contracts to lowest bidder is utterly failure in India as sub standard material goes and the public continues to suffer. The authorities must awake and learn from successful missions to Moon by our Space Scientists, that how they can get good material besides being a govt. organization.

5. FREE EDUCATION FOR ALL - GATEWAY TO CASTELESS SOCIETY :
Just imagine there are no private and public schools. There are no schools for rich and elite. There is only one school system run by government. Everybody rich or poor has easy access to school admissions, whether one is in small village or small town or metro city. The children study under a common dress code. If such a system exists then automatically we land up with society that will give equal opportunity for one and all.

If school system also permits to have value added education by teaching human religion, Nature cure and Yoga Science, Moral Science and value for one’s nation, then the children coming out from such schools will lead to a casteless society. A new society will be formed which will be casteless and more tolerating, understanding and knowledgeable.

Such model schools can be pillars of a better world. This is the only way to get out of caste system clutter created by our politicians. Let us all unite and fight for a uniform and free education system and a casteless society. Let us create our future generations based on new safe world of equality.

Political Reforms

A. Curb Excess Power of MLA/ MP

• Local Area Development/ Sanction of Projects: Make rules so that MP/MLA as an individual has no say, except a watchdog. Let RWA/ govt. Bureaucrats defines the problem and Solution.


• Interference in Government Bodies- Make rules so that elected Representatives have no access to interfere in day-to-day working of Govt. bodies.


• Chairmanship of Governing bodies: Make laws to bar elected Representatives to head governing bodies instead individuals who are experts in their fields like renowned engineers, doctors, lawyers, professors are selected to head such bodies. Remove Power of Ministers /Chief Ministers to transfer Police Officers and other govt. officials.

B. Remove Safety and security OF MLA/ MPs
No MLA/ MP /Minister should be given any security cover except PM. The members are elected to serve the public and not create problems for others. If ministers and even PM of Australia and Europe can roam freely in open markets of their countries then why not the Ministers of India ? Still if they want let them have their own private security at their own cost. Many of MPs are rich and can afford. Poor MPs anyway do not need any security.

C. Incentives :
Incentives such as free air travel, Accommodation and foreign visits need to be reduced to avoid misuses.

D. Laws to ban following at public places

• Political rallies
• Celebrate birthday parties
• Celebrate victory in elections
• Celebrate mass swearing by political leaders on winning elections and forming Govt.
