INSPIRATION
Mr. Ramesh Kumar is inspired greatly by life style of Dr Abdul Kalam . Some of his books like ‘Wings of Fire’ and ‘Ignited Minds’ are an inspiration to all scientific community . Here is a gist of some wisdom from his book ‘Ignited Minds‘. He said that triangle of father, mother and teacher play a great role in shaping the lives of the young and if they show the required dedication to shape the lives of the young, India would get a new life. These are the people who can impart the best guidance to the children.
He said that while working I have learnt two invaluable things that for success of any project everybody should work unitedly for a common goal and keep in mind that the project is bigger than you. He is expecting the developed India with a network of prosperous villages empowered by telemedicine, tele-education and e-commerce with a combination of biotechnology, bioscience, agriculture sciences and industrial development. The political leaders would work with the passion born of knowledge that the nation is bigger than individual interests and political parties and result into minimizing the rural urban divide
Societal transformation in the field of education, healthcare, agriculture and governance will result into employment generation, high productivity and rural prosperity. Information technology, biotechnology, space technology, weather forecasting, disaster management, telemedicine, teleeducation, technologies utilizing traditional knowledge, service sector and infotainment are the emerging areas resulting from convergence of information and entertainment.
Rural development is the need of the hour to restrict the migration to cities and for the overall development of the country, this means providing rural areas with basic amenities that are currently available only in cities and to provide these benefits at a small fraction of the financial, social, cultural and ecological costs the cities have to bear.
